The present book brings very important data about monetary circulation and the economy in Moesia Inferior, through an important batch of coins from roman an early byzantine period (the period of the emperors Augustus – Heraclius) discovered in the ancient Noviodunum (2 km east of Isaccea), located in northern Dobrudja.
